Build Your South Fork — 4 Steps

Step 1 — Start With the Barreled Action

Every South Fork begins with our precision Badrock barreled action, machined by Defiance.

Action Features:

  • Receiver made of pre-hardened aircraft-certified 416 stainless steel
  • Bolt made of pre-hardened aircraft-certified 4340 chrome moly with recessed bolt lugs, mini-16 extractor and plunger ejector
  • Side bolt release
  • Guaranteed headspace on every action
  • Match-grade stainless steel barrel with precision-cut crown
  • 5/8-24 threaded muzzle (thread protector included)
  • Mil-spec 1913 Picatinny stainless steel 20 MOA scope mount (optional)
  • Right or left hand
  • Approximate finished rifle weight: 11–13 lbs

The KRG Bravo chassis features an aluminum bedding backbone with the ergonomic feel of a conventional composite stock. Ample mounting points for all the accessories you need, without the weight of a full metal chassis.
